Biography

Fifteen years experience in the areas of statistical analysis and modeling, forest growth and yield modeling, sampling and inventory, and developing methods and computer programs for forest growth and dynamics simulation. Previously, postgraduate studies and employment in Canada were to develop the statistical procedures for evaluating prediction accuracy of forest growth simulation systems, and to develop forest growth models for yield forecasting and management analysing of the mixed species forests in western Canada . More recent, researches with the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment involved in developing forest growth models for yield forecasting and regulating, particularly for ash and mixed species eucalypt forests in central and eastern Victoria, and eucalypt plantations in southeastern Australia.
