Diploma of Forestry - Melbourne University , Creswick
Associate Diploma of Applied Science in Resource Management - Wangaratta College of TAFE
Experience:
• Alpine Post-Fire Catchment Hydrology - East Kiewa : Field management of the five sites, collection and collation of all data, supervision of support staff, liaison with Scientists and other interest groups.
• North East Regeneration - Pre-Harvest Site Disturbance - Mixed Species: Co-ordination of and conduction of study at three trial coupes across North East Victoria.
• Delatite Arm Reforestation Project: Developing and improving silvicultural techniques.
• Developing systems for monitoring, evaluating and improvement of sustainable forest management in Central Highlands .
• Developing techniques for High Ground River Red Gum Regeneration in Lower Goulburn / Murray River .
• Plantation silviculture trials - hardwood and softwood. This includes involvement in Climate and Soil Based Information for Farm Forestry, Tending Trials, HVP trials, Small Catchment Hydrology, and Genetics.
