  1. The use of timber for production of high value added wood products:
    • Selection criteria and requirements for timber.
    • Product development.
    • Engineering design of furniture.  
    • Manufacturing processes and methods (machining, joining, gluing, finishing).
  2. Innovative methods in bending wood components.
  3. Decorative wood veneer products and technology.
  4. Product performance in various environmental conditions.
  5. The use of plantation eucalypts for manufacturing of high value added wood products.

  6. Utilisation of small dimensions timber, wood waste and recycled wood for manufacture of high value-added wood products.
