Getting to Creswick - Transport Options
The Creswick Campus is located approximately 120 km from central Melbourne and can be reached by car in around 1 1/2 hours (map). The Campus can also be reached on public transport (train or airport bus)via the regional city of Ballarat (15 minutes from Creswick). Once in Ballarat, Creswick may be reached by local bus or taxi.
Train services to Ballarat
A V/Line train service operates between central Melbourne (Southern Cross Station) and Ballarat (station located in Lydiard Street North). Nearly 20 services operate each day (each direction) with the journey taking between 60 and 90 minutes. V/Line train or bus services also connect Ballarat with other regional centres including Bendigo, Geelong, Warrnambool, Hamilton, Mount Gambier, Horsham and Mildura. See www.vline.com.au for more information.
Airport connecting services
A shuttlebus service operates between Melbourne Airport and Ballarat. Buses arrive and depart from the Ballarat Railway station. Around nine services each way are offered on weekdays and six on weekends. Further information and a timetable can be found at http://www.airportshuttlebus.com.au/. A number of services continue on to Creswick but terminate about 3 km from the campus.

Buses
Buses run regularly between Ballarat and Creswick (11 services on weekdays, less frequent on weekends). Bus stops are located at the Ballarat Railway station and a number of other locations in Ballarat. Bus timetables are available at http://www.kefford.com.au/ballarat.htm.

Travelling by car from Melbourne to Creswick Campus
From Melbourne travelling to Creswick by car takes around 1 1/2 hours. From central Melbourne find your way to either Westgate Freeway or Calder Freeway. Exit from either of these Freeways at the Western Ring Road. Travel along Western Ring road until you reach the Western Freeway exit. Travel along Western Freeway (approximately 80km) until you see signs towards Creswick. Follow signs to Creswick (approximately 20km). Turn right at the Midland Hwy (T intersection). Turn right at Water St (just before pedestrian traffic lights, town hall on corner). Follow Water St past the football oval, and veer left up the steep hill. At the top of the hill (just before the sealed road finishes) turn left into the main carpark.
