Creswick Campus Recreation Spaces

A number of recreation spaces are available for use by staff and students at the Creswick Campus. Some of these are also available for use by the local community.

Student Recreation Rooms

Recently renovated student recreation rooms are available on the campus for all students based at the site. The recreation room includes a kitchen, dining and lounge area, as well as a room with a large pool table and table tennis table. A dartboard,large screen TV, Blueray DVD and Ipod equipped music station are also available. A deck with BBQ facilities is also available. The rooms may be used by student for functions and on a casual basis.

Gymnasium and multipurpose recreational space (under construction)

A new multi-purpose recreational space and a gymnasium is currently being built on the campus (completion date approx December 2009). This space will be available for staff, students and visitors staying on campus, and will also be available for community use. A temporary gymnasium, with new equipment, is available for use during the construction period.

Around the Campus

The Creswick Campus is located just a few hundred metres from the centre of the township of Creswick and about 15 minutes from the regional city of Ballarat. The campus borders both native and plantation forests that are ideal for a range of recreational activities including bushwalking, mountain biking and kayaking (St George's Lake). Creswick hosts a number of sports teams and Ballarat provides a full range of sporting and other recreational opportunities.
