Laboratory Policy and Procedure
The Laboratory shall comply with all aspects of The University's EHS Manual. Such Policy and Procedure have been developed to comply with relevant State and Federal Acts and Regulations. Where required, DFES Creswick specific procedure and guidelines have been developed.
DFES Laboratories are managed under a single System of work; the Laboratory Compliance Manual is the documentation of that System. The objective is to ensure that all work carried out in DFES Laboratories is conducted safely, efficiently and to a standard of excellence and quality. Each Laboratory area has a Code of Practice that documents the Laboratory Area's Supervisor, a map of included rooms, list of equipment and Authorised Users, and known hazards specific to that Laboratory Area. A Laboratory Code of Proctice will not duplicate information in the Laboratory Compliance Manual.
