Creswick Campus accommodation facilities
The Creswick Campus offers inexpensive accommodation available to students, visitors and private guests. Subject to availability, accommodation may also be booked by external groups. Up to 75 people may be accommodated on the campus at one time in three accommodation units:

Self-catering kitchens are available for use by all visitors staying on campus. Catered meals may also be available for group bookings. Guests staying on campus may also have access to student recreation facilities including lounge, kitchen and pool and table tennis room, and 24 hour access to computer facilities. A gym is available to use for a fee. The campus is located a few hundred metres from the main street of Creswick, which has a supermarket, cafes and hotels.
Temporary and longer term rental accommodation is also available in the township of Creswick and surrounds, and the city of Ballarat (15 minutes drive).

Transport
The Creswick township is found on the Midland Highway between Daylesford and Ballarat. There is a local bus service from the Ballarat Railway Station to Creswick. The train arrives at the Creswick Railway Station once per day. By road, follow the signs from the Western Highway between Ballarat and Melbourne. The location of the campus is indicated in Creswick. Turn into Water Street from the main street, where the old Town Hall with the clock tower is located on the corner. Melway map reference - 627 B3.

A.V. Galbraith House (AVG) |

A.V. Galbraith House (AVG) has 38 single rooms on two levels. Rooms are fully carpeted and equipped with a single bed, bookshelf, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair. Linen is provided including pillow, sheets, blankets and towels. All rooms are centrally heated and have wireless and cable internet access for University staff and students. Both Uniwireless and 'home style' ADSL wireless capacity is available. There are toilets/showers on each level. Four fully equipped kitchens are located next to AVG House to provide self catering facilities. AVG is located in close proximity to the 24 hour access computer laboratory, library and student recreation facility and gym. Students staying on the campus on a full time basis are usually allocated rooms in AVG. Students staying on campus for intensive teaching blocks will normally be allocated rooms in AVG but may be located in the other accommodation units depending on student numbers. |

Semmens Hall |

Semmens Hall is a 20-bed accommodation unit with three wings, each containing six or seven individual rooms. Linen is provided, including pillow, blankers, sheets and towel. The bedrooms are carpeted and equipped with a bed, desk, wardrobe and wash basin. The rooms are centrally heated and access to wireless internet is available. There are 6 bathrooms within the unit plus a large common room for group discussions and recreation. This accommodation includes only a basic kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and microwave. Semmens Hall does not provide full cooking facilities, however guests staying at Semmens Hall may have access to the fully self catering kitchens adjacent to AVG. Semmens Hall is located in close proximitiy to the 24 hour access computer laboratory, library, student recreation facility and gym.

The Lodge |

The Lodge accommodation contains ten bedrooms, with each room having two single beds. Linen is provided, including pillow, blankers, sheets and towel. Rooms are centrally heated. Four bathrooms are located within the Lodge. It has a small common area and self-catering small kitchen. Guests staying at The Lodge may have access to the fully self catering kitchens adjacent to AVG. The Lodge is located in close proximitiy to the 24 hour access computer laboratory, library, student recreation facility and gym.
